Over Tove
A little about my background as an artist
The most important areas of work in my life are as a high school teacher for 42 years.
As a young woman I was trained as an embroidery designer and since then, in the 1990s, also as an art therapist.
I am the author of the books Form and Composition and Form and Fantasy and have, in addition to teaching high school students, taught teachers at many levels in these concepts throughout Denmark for many years.
For the last 16 years I have worked exclusively as a professional. artist, however, I debuted in 1980.
I exhibit and sell my art throughout Europe and in the Nordics.
Iets over mijn achtergrond als kunstenaar
De belangrijkste werkterreinen in mijn leven zijn als lerares op een middelbare school gedurende 42 jaar.
Als jonge vrouw ben ik opgeleid als borduurontwerpster en sindsdien, in de jaren negentig, ook als kunstzinnig therapeut.
Ik ben de auteur van de boeken Form and Composition en Form and Fantasy en heb, naast het lesgeven aan middelbare scholieren, jarenlang in heel Denemarken op vele niveaus lesgegeven in deze concepten.
De laatste 16 jaar heb ik uitsluitend als professioneel kunstenaar gewerkt, hoewel ik in 1980 debuteerde.
Ik exposeer en verkoop mijn kunst in heel Europa en Scandinavië.
